Periodic Table


Every row going left to right is a called a period starting at the top with 1 down to 7. Labeling the columns going from top to bottom is called a Group or Family.

The Group 1,2 and 3 through 8 are called main groups while the 3 through 12 are the Transition metals.

The elements B, SI, Ge, AS, Sb, Te, down the zig zag bar to the right are called semimetals (metalloids). Everything to the right of them are called Nonmetals and everything to the left are called metals.

The number on top of every element are the amount of protons in that specific element. The number below them with all the decimals is the averaged atomic mass of the element.
